Turning community experience into community impact.
Turning community experience into community impact.
This report captures a year of work across multiple community-based programs, translating day-to-day activity into a clear narrative of progress, challenges, and learning. The process involved gathering information from staff and leadership, organizing both quantitative outcomes and qualitative insight, and shaping them into a document that could be used for reflection, accountability, and planning. Beyond the final report, the project helped establish a shared understanding of what the organization accomplished over the year and where it is headed next. This work demonstrates an ability to collect and synthesize complex program information, facilitate internal reflection, and produce documentation that supports accountability to organizational goals, and strategic planning.
This interactive, collegiate-level session engaged undergraduate students at Fordham University in a facilitated exploration of food, culture, and identity. Designed as a participatory workshop rather than a traditional lecture, the session centered dialogue, reflection, and collective meaning-making through guided prompts and small-group discussion. The presentation demonstrates strengths in community-rooted facilitation, translating complex social ideas for diverse audiences, and designing conversations that honor participant experience while operating within a higher-education setting.
In collaboration with the Anne Arundel County Food Council, this project involved the design and facilitation of a county-level stakeholder presentation introducing human-centered food access flowcharts for Anne Arundel County residents. The session walked stakeholders through audience-specific flowcharts designed to reduce barriers to food access by aligning resources with the way people actually seek help. Using personas, real-world scenarios, and guided discussion, the presentation invited feedback, identified gaps in existing systems, and supported collaborative problem-solving among county partners. The work demonstrates strengths in systems mapping, participatory facilitation, and translating complex service landscapes into practical, community-usable tools.
This project involved the ongoing collection, analysis, and visual reporting of public safety and program impact data in support of the Man Up Community Violence Intervention and Prevention Program. Using publicly available law enforcement data alongside internal program information, the snapshots translate complex trends into clear, accessible visuals for community members, stakeholders, and local leadership. The work emphasizes transparency, contextual understanding, and practical insight—supporting informed conversation, proactive response, and community-centered decision-making.
This resource provides a clear, visual overview of Brothers Giving’s mission, programs, and annual community impact. Designed to be accessible to community members, partners, and supporters, the document combines program explanation with outcome data from the organization’s Annual Thanksgiving Drive, including families served, individuals fed, and geographic reach across Anne Arundel County. The work demonstrates strengths in translating community-based programming into digestible, visually engaging materials that support transparency, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement.
